Bone Health Challenge Sweepstakes Official Rules

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not increase your chance of winning. Void where prohibited. OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE REGISTERED RED HAT SOCIETY MEMBERS AS OF OCTOBER 31, 2008.

The following promotion is intended for viewing in the United States only (except in Puerto Rico) and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not a resident of, and located, in the United States (except Puerto Rico) at the time of entry.

1. To Enter: Log on to www.redhatsociety.com and complete a short bone health quiz. After taking the quiz, enter the requested information to enter the Sweepstakes. The score of the quiz will not be taken into account. The quiz consists of 6-8 true or false questions. The sweepstakes is open between 12:01 am EDT October 31, 2008 and 11:59:00 p.m. EDT December 19, 2008. Entries must be complete to be eligible. One entry per Red Hat Society member. Online entries must be received by 11:59:00 p.m. EST on December 19, 2008.

2. Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open to registered members of the Red Hat Society who are legal residents of the U.S., who are at least 21 years of age at the time of entry and who have a valid mailing address and email address. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, e-mail information and telephone number to OgilvyAction for purposes of managing the sweepstakes only. Otherwise, information collected from participants is subject to the Red Hat Society's privacy policy, which can be accessed from this website. Void in Puerto Rico, and where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of Hoffmann- La Roche Inc. or GlaxoSmithKline (the "Sponsors") or OgilvyAction, or any of their respective affiliates or subsidiaries, or members of their immediate families, are not eligible.

3. Drawing: Winners will be selected on or about December 19, 2008 in a random drawing conducted from among all eligible entries received by OgilvyAction, an independent judging organization whose decisions in all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Potential prize winners will be notified by OgilvyAction by e-mail to the address provided during entry, with follow-up documentation, including an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, sent by regular mail. Potential winner's response to the e-mail notification must be received by OgilvyAction within 8 days of the date of the email notification, or the potential winner will be disqualified. The follow-up documentation must be completed, notarized, returned, and received by OgilvyAction, within 14 days of the date mailed to the potential winner. If the completed documentation is not received within those 14 days, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted from among all eligible entries. If prize notification is not responded to or any prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected by an additional random drawing conducted from all eligible entries. Entering an incorrect or incomplete e-mail address in the registration process, or failing to meet the eligibility requirements above, will result in sweepstakes disqualification. By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsors the right to use their name, likeness and biographical information in any and all media for advertising/promotional purposes and will be required to sign a release to this effect. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

Prizes: One (1) First Prize: Opportunity to participate in "A Conversation With Sally" includes participation in an educational discussion with Sally Field, a physician or nurse, and a moderator about bone health and life after 50, which will be recorded and used to promote bone health education. Winner is not guaranteed to be included in the final recording.

Acceptance of the prize requires winner to sign a letter of agreement and to travel and appear for the convenience of Sponsors. Hotel, travel and meals will be included pursuant to a participation letter of agreement which winner must sign in order to receive prize. Taxes on prize and all other expenses not provided by Sponsors are winner's responsibility. Approximate retail value ("ARV": $1,500). (Actual prize value will vary based on winner's location and other factors; no cash will be awarded as part of prize).

One (1) Second Prize: Local nutritionist and physician or nurse will discuss bone health and the importance of nutrition during a bone healthy lunch or snack session for winner and up to 25 members of her Red Hat Society chapter. Event will be catered at winner's home. Prize will include food, beverages, nutritionist, physician, wait staff, and food transportation. Taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. (ARV: $2,000) (Actual prize value will vary based on winner's location, number of attendees and other factors; no cash will be awarded as part of prize.)

Fifty (50) Third Prize: Gym bag with bone-healthy snack and osteoporosis fact sheet. Taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. (ARV/per bag: $10)

Total ARV of all prizes is $ 4,000. If by reason of any error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

4. Limitation of Liability: Sponsors and judging organization OgilvyAction are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries; or entries that are lost due to computer, Internet, or electronic malfunction. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify sweepstakes and award the prizes through alternate means if fraud or technical failure compromises the integrity of the sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Entrants agree that the Sponsors, their promotion companies, related companies, agencies, and their respective employees or officers shall not be liable for injury, losses, damages, or costs of any kind resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance of or use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered.

5. Right to Modify or Cancel Sweepstakes: Sponsors reserve the right to modify these Official Rules or cancel the sweepstakes, due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

6.
