Queen Margie, along with a group of 24 members, chartered a bus to the Big Easy to see the musical. The Southern Peninsula Red Hat Revellers (Victoria, Australia) enjoy gathering together and recently had high tea at the Windsor Hotel Melbourne. The Windsor is befitting Royal Ladies like us, says Queen “Maggie” Margaret Behrendt. Present were Queen Lilliana from Wangaratta, Queen Phoebe from Berwick, Queen Ingrid from Pakenham, Queen RazaMaTaaz from Geelong. The first photo is of the five Queens; the second photo is Queen RazaMaTaaz and her Scallywag chapter.

The Northwest Valley Red Hat Society of Arizona sailed aboard the Monarch of the Seas with the first female captain of Royal Caribbean. The Red Hatters decided that Captain Karin StahreJanson should be named an honorary member of the Red Hat Society. She joined Royal Caribbean as a 1st Officer on the legendary Viking Serenade in 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Captain, making history by becoming Royal Caribbean's very first female Captain. The Scarlet Ladies of the Rockies (Lakewood, Colorado) are all deaf and hard of hearing. The “signing” chapter doesn’t need kazoos but enjoy bubbles galore! The Red Hot Flutterbye's Marys (Peoria, Illinois) decorated a Red Hat Easter bonnet and won first-place at the Chillicothe, Illinois Easter Parade. Opal Webster Burgess sent us these photos and said they won a Singing Bear as a prize.

The Golden Belles (Clarington, Canada) held an Easter bonnet contest and got together to make personalized Easter cards. The chapter’s own Belinda, who is a Girl Guide leader, organized the stamping, cutting, gluing and coloring of the creative cards. Queen “Lady Jean” McBride said two pink hatters in waiting (ages 12 and 9) helped their mom and dressed up in colors of pink and lavender—colors of Easter too!
