Renew Now and Save!

September 18, 2017

Dear Queens and Supporting Members,

As your CEO, it is my responsibility to always look at the future of our organization. Where will we be 20 years from now? How will we sustain the growing needs of our Membership? What technology will be required to continue to lead the way in connecting and supporting women approaching 50 and beyond? Are our dues priced to accommodate those needs? These are questions that are discussed each year at Hatquarters.

After asking these questions this year, Sue Ellen, the team at Hatquarters and I have come to the realization that there is one area we need to make a change—our yearly Membership dues fee. In 2018, both Queens and Members will see a $10 per year increase in their dues. Queens will now pay $49 US ($.13 per day) and Supporting Members will pay $30 US ($.08 per day) to be a part of the RHS.

We have labored over this decision long and hard, but we must look at basic inflation rates. What cost $20 in 1998 is now $30 using an inflation calculator. What cost $39 in 1998 is well over the $49 we are requesting of each Queen. This $10 per year increase will provide the support the RHS requires, rather than leaving us looking for ways to cut necessary resources any further than we already have.

In anticipation of the dues increase, we have decided to give the Membership the opportunity to renew EARLY—regardless of whether or not they just did. This will give each Member the opportunity to lock in the current pricing ($39 US for Queens & $20 US for Supporting Members) for up to five additional years (you may choose to renew for up to 5 years in advance.) This offer is available through December 31, 2017.

To take advantage of the early renewal offer, click on RENEW found on the MY ACCOUNT page. MY ACCOUNT is the first page that pops up when you log into and can always be found under QUICK LINKS.

We thank you for your support and understanding in this necessary change. If we can answer any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at
