A Bold Plan of Attack

Looking ahead, we are entering the year with intention, energy, and a clear focus on moving the Society forward in ways that support connection, creativity, and fun.

In 2026, members will see an improved RHS website, designed to be more welcoming, more useful, and easier to navigate. We are also expanding RHS-sponsored events, with several new opportunities already planned and more on the horizon.

A familiar favorite is returning in a fresh way the Friday Broadcast will come back as the Friday Podcast, offering another opportunity for members to listen, learn, and share their voices. Members will be able to submit guest requests and be part of these conversations.

Communication across the sisterhood will continue to grow in approachable, meaningful ways. Members will have opportunities to stay informed through regular updates, reach out directly to Ruby and Pinkie with questions or ideas, request support for local media outreach, or invite a HATquarters representative to join a chapter celebration either in person or virtually.

To support both new and established chapters, Royal Academy will serve as an added resource, offering online guidance, shared wisdom, and practical tips from Queens and Ambassadors who have walked the path before.

Members can also look forward to both new and returning RHS products in 2026 from familiar favorites to fun new offerings designed to celebrate the spirit of the sisterhood throughout the year.

A question I hear often is, “How can we help grow this wonderful organization?” The answer is: in many ways. New volunteer opportunities will be introduced, with flexibility in mind, allowing members to contribute in ways that fit their lives. In truth, every member is already an ambassador sharing fun, friendship, and connection wherever she goes. As we refine and refocus long-standing programs, these new opportunities will invite even more voices into shaping the future of the Society.

The 2026 Handbook has also been updated to align with our values and expectations. At its heart is a simple promise we all share: to be kind to one another and to continue expanding the bonds of sisterhood.

From the Member and Queen Pledge:

I promise to honor RHS by committing to the values and principles of the Society, representing RHS with kindness and grace when in regalia, and ensuring that FUN remains at the heart of everything I do as a Red or Pink Hatter.

Throughout history, the most meaningful achievements have come from bold plans not the easiest ones, but those that ask us to think bigger and step beyond our comfort zones. These moments require effort, resilience, and trust in one another. It is often through challenge that we discover our greatest strength.

Remember, every meaningful journey begins with a single step taken with purpose, joy, and sisterhood.
