A Favorite Things Party Idea
Published

Have you heard about a Favorite Things Party? It sounds so fun! We all have products that we absolutely adore. Have you ever been impressed with a new gadget or swear by a particular brand of red lipstick, and love to tell everyone you know about them? Here is your chance to share with your Sisters, and take home some great gifts too.
Here’s how it works: the hostess sets a budget (typically $10 - $30) and asks quests to bring 3 unwrapped gifts within that range. To break the ice, everyone fills out a fun question like “Tell us something we don’t know about you,” creating a lively atmosphere.
During the party, the hostess selects a question to start the conversation, and guests guess who gave the answer. The person guessed correctly presents her favorite thing and selects 3 lucky winners to receive her gifts. Then, she picks the next ice breaker, and the cycle continues until all the favorite things are shared.
The best part? This party is super flexible and can be held anytime, anywhere! Imagine morning mimosas and donuts at home, a cozy potluck in pajamas, or a delightful gathering at your favorite restaurant. So, gather your friends and get ready for some fun!
This party agenda is very flexible. It can be held any time of day; Picture morning mimosas and donuts in your home, a potluck in PJs, or a gathering in your favorite restaurant.
This is one way this party can work:
The hostess predetermines the gift budget (typically in the $5 - $30 range) and number of unwrapped gifts each guest is to bring and present (typically 3). She also, prepares slips of paper with an ice breaker question. A sample question could be “Tell us something we don’t know about you.”. The group will guess who’s answer it is.
The guests fill out the questions upon arrival and writes their name on slips of paper to add to designated bowls.
The hostess picks an ice breaker question to begin and the group guesses who’s answer it is. That person is the first to present her favorite thing. After the presentation, she picks 3 winners and gives the gifts. The presenter picks the next ice breaker and so on until all the favorite things are presented.
