A Grand Salute: The Red Hat Society Honors Veterans at Tucson’s 105th Veterans Day Parade

The Red Hat Vintage Ladies’ Queen, Ambassador and 2014 Hatter of the Year, Marilyn C., alongside Rosie Hattitude Red Hats, Queen Glynda L. and chapterettes, Sherry D., Diana E., Marizol H., Lady Joan, Retired United States Air Force of Tucson, AZ and Donna H., RHS Hatquarters, Fullerton, CA, United States sparkled in signature style at the 105th Tucson Veterans Day Parade, November 11, 2024. Joined by their families, veterans, and friends, they embodied the spirit of community and unity in a heartfelt celebration of our nation’s heroes.
The vibrant Tucson chapters were privileged to honor our nation’s heroes. This year’s event paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave Veterans of Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Calm whom one of our queens’ sons served as did many of your loved ones uniting a community of courage, service, and sacrifice.
Among the fifty-four parade participants, RHS’s rich tradition of celebrating history and community has been a steadfast participant in the parade since 2014 with their enthusiasm and flair reminiscent of grand celebrations as highlighted in Queen Elizabeth’s personal 25th Jubilee bus. Talk about channeling royal elegance!
