A Play Date with Purpose

Eleven members of Northern Lights chapter, a 24-year-old red hat society group in Toronto Ontario Canada,  took an afternoon to do a little volunteering, instead of their usual play dates. Their founding queen mother, Betty Ann Vento aka Lady Chai,  Queen Aurora , led them to Global Medic  of Canada’s warehouse to package food product.  An incredible 1140 bags of chickpeas for distribution to food banks was packed in a three hour period by these lovely ladies   A good time was had by all and a request was made of the queen that they do it again next year.
