Holiday Gratitude Craft: Festive Gratitude Garland
Published

- Supplies: Red and purple construction paper, gold or silver ribbon or string, scissors, markers or pens, festive stickers, hole punch.
- Cut construction paper into festive shapes: think mittens, ornaments, snowflakes, stars, or hats. Aim for enough shapes for each participant to have several.
- Write a word or phrase of gratitude or holiday cheer on each shape, such as “Peace,” “Friendship,” “Laughter,” “Good Health,” or “Sisterhood Sparkle.”
- Decorate the shapes with stickers, glitter, or drawings for a touch of seasonal magic.
- Punch a hole at the top of each shape and string them onto the ribbon, creating a beautiful garland.
At your December gathering, everyone can contribute their shapes to a group garland for your meeting space, or take home their own mini garland as a heartwarming reminder of the season’s blessings.
Optional: If you’d like, create extra gratitude shapes to hand out as little ornaments or tuck into holiday cards for friends, family, or community members—spreading cheer and thankfulness all month long!
