HOOT Day 2026

If there is one thing Red Hatters know how to do, it’s celebrate.

On June 13, 2026, members around the world celebrated Worldwide HOOT Day, proving once again that no one celebrates friendship, fun, and fabulous hats quite like the Red Hat Society.

From tea rooms and train-themed luncheons to shopping excursions and anniversary parties, Pinkies and Queens embraced the spirit of HOOT Day with laughter, creativity, and sisterhood. Here are just a few of the celebrations shared from around the Red Hat world.

In Southern California, the Gems and Diamonds of Inspiration marked the occasion with a heartfelt “Happy Hoot Day, Pinkies and Queens!” while celebrating the joy and connection that define the Red Hat experience.

For the Heartland Hatters, HOOT Day coincided with their fifth anniversary celebration. Held luau-style at the Peacock Tea Room, the event featured games, contests, swag bags, commemorative pins, and plenty of laughter and memories. Plans for HOOT Day 2027 are already underway.

In Groves, Texas, the Triangle Shine and Dine Belles hosted a train-themed luncheon complete with discussions of Juneteenth, inspirational card exchanges, homemade treats, and a lively kazoo parade.

In Arizona, members from several Phoenix-area chapters gathered for shopping and lunch, enjoying the opportunity to connect with Red Hat sisters from across their region.

The Big D Re-Gals celebrated in Plano, Texas, with a gathering featuring a Red Hat exchange and a traditional kazoo salute for June birthday honoree JoAnn.

Meanwhile, Red Hat sisters from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama came together in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, for a joyful multi-state celebration hosted by Aimee Marcomb.

Whether celebrating with tea and pearls, shopping bags and kazoos, or simply the company of treasured friends, Red Hatters everywhere demonstrated what Worldwide HOOT Day is all about: friendship, sisterhood, and making memories together.
