These adorable felt pins are easy to make, require minimal supplies, and add a festive touch to any outfit, scarf, or hat.
Inspired by senior-friendly fall crafts that spark joy and creativity, this project is perfect for Red Hatters of all crafting levels.
š Materials Needed:
- Orange felt (or fabric scraps)Ā
- Green felt (for stems/leaves)Ā
- ScissorsĀ
- Glue stick or hot glueĀ
- Safety pins or adhesive badge pinsĀ
- Optional: glitter, rhinestones, ribbon, googly eyesĀ
š§µ Instructions:
Cut Your Pumpkins
Draw or trace small pumpkin shapes (about 2ā3 inches wide) onto orange felt. Cut them out carefully.
Add Details
Cut small green felt pieces for stems or leaves. Glue them to the top of each pumpkin.
Back It Up
Cut slightly larger circles or ovals from red or purple cardstock to back your pumpkinsāthis adds a Red Hat flair.
Pin It
Attach a safety pin or badge pin to the back using glue or tape.
Bling It Up
Decorate the edges with glitter, sequins, or rhinestones. Add googly eyes for a playful twist!
