Purple, Red & Ravishing Visits the LA County Fire Museum
Published
Queen Diana of the Purple, Red & Ravishing chapter in Long Beach, CA recently turned up the heat on fun with an exciting visit to the LA County Fire Museum. The ladies spent the day learning about the proud history of firefighting in Los Angeles County, surrounded by vintage engines, powerful stories, and iconic pieces of emergency response history.
One of the highlights of the visit was meeting Bill, an 83-year-old docent whose passion and deep knowledge brought the exhibits to life. From historical fire trucks to behind-the-scenes tales of heroism, Bill's storytelling had everyone fully engaged. His enthusiasm was contagious and made the visit extra special.
After the museum, the group headed to Rocco’s for a delicious lunch and lively conversation. Laughter echoed through the restaurant as hats came off and memories were made.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Sue S., for planning this fun-filled, educational, and wonderfully well-fed day. Adventures like these are what make sisterhood so special.
Stay curious and keep exploring, Hatters!
