We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on an exceptional member of our Red Hat Society family, Marian Arnoult-Jackson, this month's Queen of the Month. Known affectionately as the Queen of Hearts, Marian leads the Dixie Darlings of New Orleans, LA USA, with a blend of grace, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for her Chapterettes.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Marian's roots run deep in the culture and traditions of the Big Easy. With a BA in Psychology from Loyola University and a remarkable 39-year career in real estate, Marian is not just a master of her trade but also a lifelong learner. Her impressive list of certifications, including Certified Ninja, ABR, SRS, CRS, Historic Properties Specialist, e-Certified, Green, and Relocation Certified, highlights her dedication and expertise.

Marian's journey into the world of Red Hatting began with a delightful twist. Her first event saw her stepping into a Golden Corral restaurant in her pajamas—a memorable introduction that mixed delight, fear, and a lot of fun. That initial spark ignited a deep connection, leading Marian to become a cherished leader within the RHS community.

Marian's personal life is as rich and colorful as her professional one. She has been married for 31 years to her soulmate, Louis D. Jackson, a former Marine whose unwavering support and love have been her rock. Their love story is nothing short of a fairy tale, starting with a chance meeting at a dance and blossoming into a lifetime of shared adventures and joy.

Beyond her roles in real estate and the RHS, Marian is a woman of many passions. She's an avid mahjong player, a master gardener since 2010, and a fitness enthusiast. Marian also delights in movies, reading, traveling, boating, fishing, dancing, and designing costumes. Her dedication to health and longevity is evident in her continuous exploration of new practices. Moreover, her active involvement in her church and community showcases her generous spirit and commitment to making a difference.

As the Queen of Hearts, Marian's leadership style is both inspiring and heartwarming. She ensures that every member of the Dixie Darlings feels valued and appreciated. Marian is a "Fun Creator," always introducing fresh and exciting activities to keep the group engaged and entertained. She encourages her Chapterettes to step into the spotlight, coordinating events and embracing themes that spark joy and creativity.

One of Marian's treasured traditions is the donation of a goody basket at group events. Each Dixie Darling contributes an item, reflecting their unity and generosity. This thoughtful gesture not only brings joy to recipients but also strengthens the bond among the members.

Marian's secret to a happy, positive life is simple yet profound: put everything in God's hands and try not to worry. She believes in living fully, getting involved, and connecting heart to heart.
