Queen Betty: A Royal Celebration of Fun, Friendship, and Leadership
Published
As we celebrate International Women's Day this month, there is no better time to honor a truly remarkable woman and dedicated Red Hat Society Queen—Queen Betty! A beacon of positivity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to fun and friendship, Queen Betty embodies the very essence of what it means to be a Hatter.
Queen Betty, the proud leader of the Ruby Margaritas Red Hatters, has been an active and loyal Queen, guiding her 15-member chapter with grace and enthusiasm. Her dedication extends beyond her chapter, as she is also a devoted member of the Royal Loyal Queens Council San Antonio, where she continues to spread her joy and passion for the Red Hat Society.
This past week, Queen Betty celebrated her 92nd birthday—a milestone that is a testament to her vibrant spirit and unwavering zest for life. When asked about her secret to a positive and healthy life, Betty simply shared, “If it ain’t fun, I do not do it.” This philosophy not only reflects her personal approach to happiness but also aligns perfectly with the core values of the Red Hat Society—embracing fun and friendship at every turn.
Queen Betty thrives on the joy of gathering with her chapter and fellow Hatters across the San Antonio area. Whether it's a lively luncheon, a creative outing, or a grand Red Hat event, she leads with laughter and camaraderie, ensuring that every gathering is filled with cherished memories.
Beyond her Red Hat adventures, Queen Betty is also the president of her local Toastmasters Society. Her dedication to leadership and communication is inspiring, proving that age is no barrier to making an impact in one’s community.
We salute Queen Betty for her incredible leadership, boundless energy, and unwavering commitment to sisterhood. She is a shining example of how embracing fun, friendship, and lifelong learning can lead to a truly fulfilling life. Happy Birthday, Queen Betty, your Red Hat Society family celebrates you today and always!
