A few months ago, my friend called me while I was busy making dinner and in a hurry. She asked me for one good reason to renew her RHS membership, and I gave her a couple of reasons, but she kept saying that they weren't good enough. Frustrated, I asked if I could call her back later. After some thought, I called her and simply said, "YOU."

I explained that our friendship, which had lasted for about 15 years, wouldn't be as strong without the Red Hat Society. She agreed, called it the right answer, and promised to renew the next morning.

I'm forever grateful to the Red Hat Society for introducing me to her and many other wonderful friends. Some of these ladies have become like sisters to me. My membership is worth every cent for the chance to meet and know these special women.
