Tea on Wheels: Queen Irma and the Travel Bugs of San Antonio Ride in Style
Queen Irma Pritchard and her Red and Pink Hat Travel Bugs of San Antonio Sisters weren’t about to choose between sipping tea or sightseeing in Austin. They did both in fabulous Red Hat style and it was just for a day of fun!
Their adventure unfolded aboard a whimsical pink double-decker bus that served up a delightful blend of afternoon tea and city views. For 90 unforgettable minutes, the Travel Bugs enjoyed a guided tour of Austin’s iconic landmarks, accompanied by live music and a seasonal menu that included savory bites, mini desserts, classic scones, and a proper tea.
As the bus cruised past murals, historic sites, and the city skyline, the group shared laughs, took photos, and soaked in the soul of Austin one cup of tea and one tune at a time.
This wasn’t just a tea party; it was a celebration of friendship, flair, and fun. With a keepsake in hand and memories to last, the Travel Bugs of San Antonio proved that elegance and adventure make the perfect pairing.
So the next time you're torn between a tour and a tea, take a page from the Travel Bugs; Austin’s pink bus is waiting, and it's steeped in fun.
