The Traveling Teapot game

Hatters typically flock together in groups or gaggles, and we love that part of hatting. What is special about this game is that it allows you to really get to know another member personally and we love that too!

Traveling Teapot

Start off with a great Teapot. Put all the member’s names in the pot. First pick two names out of a hat to start it off. Those two have tea using the great Teapot.  After they have tea together, the lady whose name was picked second, should take the teapot home with her and at the next opportunity pick the next name. Then those two have a tea together and so on and so on.

Here’s what one member had to say about the experience:

We ended up taking the tea pot with us to lunch, spending 4 hours together, chatting, shopping together, and a new friendship was formed. I am astounded at how grateful I am for the opportunity to spend quality time with someone from my chapter who I wasn't sure I had anything in common with only to discover that we did in fact, have much in common. I would heartily recommend this for all chapters where members don't know each other too well.
