One of the great advantages of Red Hat Society membership is that we have members nearly everywhere! If you are traveling, it’s possible to contact other members to meet at your destination or at stops along the way. Queen Elisa Rainwater Scheuplein, Guntersville, AL USA, says, “This is what the Red hat Society does… it allows you to meet friends that you didn’t even know you had!”
Elisa sends a special thank you to those who helped make her contact with Queen Sandy Ingram, Cincinnati, OH USA a reality: Hatter of the Year, Ambassador Queen Sue Nicholson for arranging the contact, and Queen Toni Gilbert, Hilliard, OH USA for her outstanding computer skills.
From the minute Sandy picked up Elisa at her hotel, they hit it off and it seemed like they had known each other forever. They had so much in common. Elisa shared that she absolutely 100% enjoyed the 3 hours that they spent together chatting and laughing. She can’t wait for Sandy and the gals to come to Alabama to visit. Her coffee pot is always on the ready!
