Are you staying consistent or consistently just talking about how you should? Staying consistent doesn’t mean you have to kill yourself in your workouts every day, eat salads all the time or feel super motivated daily.
Can we agree that “staying consistent” means you work out most days of the week and cut the junk food most days of the week? Both of which are realistic and will still allow you to enjoy this one life you have. Long term consistency…will yield results! How ‘bout it? Ya’ with me?
If you screw up, be gentle to yourself and encourage yourself to learn from it, let go and move on.
When you are building a house, every single brick is important. When building character, it’s every thought that counts. You are what you think. Love, joy - the more you think of these qualities, the more you will become them. Have you given your workouts much thought? Seriously, it’s not really about the workouts, it’s about what the workouts ENABLE you to do!! I work out every day so I’m able to do all the other stuff I wanna’ do with the rest of my day!! My health and fitness are my ENABLERS!!
