I’m going to wait … Until I have more money … Until I’m not so busy. Until I am more motivated … Hey you! Stop!
Most people spend more money on phone upgrades than they do on self-care. Nothing wrong with doing that, but is it going to make you feel better long term?
Sista!! We are all crazy busy and that’s actually a good thing because that means LIFE abundant! I promise, the 30 minutes you spend on your wellness/fitness journey will give you the energy (& sanity) to get through the crazy!
Besides, your munchkins need to see that their Mom/Grandma/Aunt whoever they look up to cares enough about themselves to take care of themselves! This might just be the single most valuable lesson you teach them. Do you want them to see you healthy and vibrant or lacking energy and crabby?
So, what excuse do you have? Really? Is it a legit barrier? OR is it just what you throw up there when you get a bit uncomfortable about starting something new? Something out of your comfort zone.
Many people put themselves on the back burner for so long that by time they begin to think of focusing on themselves, they think that it is too late OR, that they don't deserve to invest in themselves OR they feel guilty about spending money on themselves. That’s just stinking-thinking.
No stinking-thinking for me. Are you bogged down in your own stinking-thinking? Break free. It’s NEVER too late.
The present is a gift. Be truly in the present today and release all your fears (based on the past) and your worries (imagined futures). This is the work of someone who truly wants to break free from the anchors and burdens of dead yesterdays and speculative tomorrows.
